The Product Manager will be the overall product owner of existing products and any related new products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • He/she will take full ownership of the new product releases and ensure the relevant promotional material for the releases are briefed into the relevant departments
  • Ensure integrity, product reliability, and maintenance of the product, and images; across all supported devices
  • Coordinate product modifications, upgrades and installations with service providers, regulatory agencies and support areas
  • Sort, arrange and/or categorize product in terms of client preference, business profitability and other value adding metrics per brand
  • Daily maintenance of the relevant product categories across all the supported brands
  • Perform data analysis as appropriate for the purpose of optimizing profitability and reducing costs
  • Write procedures for maintaining product, following service provider recommendations
  • Use of the product report to ensure optimization of product display per market
  • Conduct market, industry and competitive analysis to drive product and business decisions
  • Monitor customer satisfaction of products and makes recommendations for change
  • Develop longstanding and cooperative relationships with all 3rd party providers and suppliers
  • Direct investigations of customer concerns that are beyond the scope of the Support Centre
  • Ensures each member of the team is properly trained and that they are provided the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their job effectively
  • Maintain familiarity with all products and strategies

Minimum requirements:

  •  Product Management experience within a lean / agile development methodology
  • Education, experience or a combination of both, with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of customer interactions and journeys on transactional digital products
  • Naturally collaborative, and with a desire to be part of a highly successful team rather than just a highly successful individual
  • Demonstrate a passion for continually improving customer experience
  • High levels of commitment and enthusiasm
  • Interest in and knowledge of the latest technology and media trends, in particular an interest in web and mobile based products
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with a desire to see a job through to conclusion
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate at all levels of an organization
  • An analytical mind-set with the ability to translate business cases and analysis into tangible outcomes
